PROJECT | Modern Manhattan Media Center

The renowned landmarked Cass Gilbert building in Chelsea, Manhattan is home to our recent clients.  Their high floor corner loft is nothing short of magnificent and transFORM designer, Maryan Louka was there to help with the design process.

The goal of this project was to create a Customized Wall Unit perfectly adaptable for the customer's television and storage needs.  This design was carefully planned to match the modern luxury and exquisite design of their high-end home.  It was also designed to be just as functional as it is elegant, as it was carefully crafted around electrical outlets and other architectural elements.

All Adjustable Shelving surrounds this television with decorative Shaker Style Doors and a Custom Gray Countertop to top off the polished unit.

A custom painted Gray Melamine and Oak Wood were the materials of choice for this project, while Fluted Panels with Rosette Molding were added to create a sophisticated and timeless look.  The use of the architectural feature of molding adds value to the room, highlights the unit and makes the entire room feel well-crafted, just like a home is supposed to feel!

Frequently Asked Question on Design

When are your designers available to meet with me?

Designers are available (mornings, afternoons and evenings) Monday through Saturday. Designers can meet with you at your home or at one of our showrooms.

Can I send a design I got from another company and have you quote it?

We’d be happy to give you a comparative quote. Please send the other company’s quote including your name, email address, home address and phone number to Info@transformhome.com. Be sure to include the design, including material specifications and dimensions and we will respond within 2 business days. We see these types of estimates as project starting points because we frequently recommend changes to designs received from competitors; we will need to send a designer to your home to ensure the best project outcome.

How long will a design consultation take?

That depends on the project you are considering. We plan on a minimum of one hour, and sometimes more, to ensure our designer has time to measure the space(s) you are considering and discuss your preferences. Over the seven years we have spent perfecting our craft we have learned it doesn’t pay to rush. Give us a call at 800-450-1455 or CLICK HERE to schedule an appointment!

How can I be sure your designers are qualified to help me?

Unlike other similar companies, all of our talented designers have extensive backgrounds that include interior design, architecture, general contracting and home organization and are thoroughly trained before working with customers. The majority of our designers have worked with us over 5 years and we are confident all of them will provide you with excellent service.

Are your systems readjustable? Can I change my design down the road if I need to?

Most of our systems can be changed with a phone call to our company. We’ll review the original paperwork for your job, what you’d like to change, (send someone to your home if necessary) and determine the materials and cost involved and schedule a time that works for you when one of our Professional Installers can complete the work.

When will I see your designer’s idea for my space?

Most of the time, the designer who consults with you in your home will schedule a second appointment for this purpose. In the case of something simple we may be able to present a design and pricing the first time we meet. We understand other companies might just email designs to you; however we feel its important to personalize our presentation in order to ensure our understanding of your needs, and your understanding of the many benefits you’ll receive when you choose transFORM!

How much does it cost for a designer to come out to my home?

Our design consultations are free.
