transFORM designer Melissa Fritz helped a New Canaan, Connecticut family convert their basement into an area for the whole family to use. The multipurpose area now acts as a home office for dad, a sewing, crafting, and gift wrapping area for mom, as well as an art and activity station for the kids.
The home office has a computer desk area that easily fits two monitors and a printer with plenty of elbowroom. The frame of the corkboard and backsplash between the desk and the upper storage cabinets were done in teal to match the kids chairs. The family is eco-minded and were very happy transFORM offers the eco-friendly MDF boards and paint they wanted for their home. This unused area of the home now enables the whole family to enjoy some of their favorite activities in a designated and accommodating space.
