About the Artists
Photographer Keith Green is known for his portraits of West Village rock icons. Keith’s most noted work features an exclusive photo-essay of the late punk icon Dee Dee Ramone, which was captured at the infamous Chelsea Hotel during the spring and summer of 1993 as Dee Dee struggled to overcome his addiction to heroin. His work has been used in many biographies and autobiographies about the seminal punk rock group, the Ramones, and has been published in magazines including Hamptons, London Sunday Times, Time Out New York, and Rolling Stone.
Painter David Humphrey was born on the island of Barbados. In 1968, he migrated with his family to New York. David gained an art background from Parsons New School for Social Research major in Illustration and Lehman College major in Studio Arts. He found his inspiration in the works of Norman Rockwell, Dali and Thomas Kinkade. He exhibited his art works as a member of New Rochelle Art Association, New Rochelle Arts Council, Bell Harbor Art Association, Cornell University, in Vladeck Hall Gallery, Lehman College Art Gallery and Bronx Council on Arts Blue Bedroom Project. David also has done several artworks on commission that reside in private collections.
Sculptor David Stahl is a New Rochelle native attending Iona College. David creates three dimensional pieces out of common, sometimes unrelated items, and transforms them into sculptures that are unusually complex in composition. His artwork has been published widely in “Kaleidoscope,” the literary and visual arts magazine of Iona College. He has participated in the New Rochelle BID Open Artists’ Studios Event. His works were sold at auction and purchased for the CUE Art Foundation Show and Auction to benefit The Rusk Institute of Rehabilitation Medicine in New York City. He has also been a group exhibitor and featured artist in shows at the New Rochelle High School Museum of Arts and Culture.
Painter Kellyann Monaghan is a graduate of Brooklyn College with an MFA in Painting, and is currently an Associate Professor of Art at Adelphi University. Her greatly honored and awarded landscapes see past the structured architecture into otherworldly qualities. She has exhibited extensively in solo and group shows across New York, Connecticut, and Pennsylvania.
Sculptor Gina Kingsley is drawn to glass as an artistic medium because of the challenge it presents to create something beautiful and meaningful out of a material that can be both exquisite and unpredictable at the same time. She has had extensive hands-on training and experience in making artwork from glass. Her works have been frequently exhibited in New Rochelle and across New York City.
Painter Maryana Oliynyk is a Ukrainian born artist living and working in NY. In 2011 she graduated Lehman College with honors, a BA in Studio Art and minor in Theater with a concentration on painting. In 2007, she graduated from Westchester Community College, majoring in Fashion Merchandising. To further her business background and interest in the arts, she was inspired to create MODHArts Gallery. Since 2009, she has exhibited in several galleries, as well as venues and art fairs.
