transFORM Welcomes NRHS Student For Career Mentoring Day
This summer transFORM was excited to host a New Rochelle High School Senior, Selin Selman, for a career mentoring day. Considering potential majors to pursue in her future, and leaning towards design and interior architecture, transFORM was the perfect place for Selin to meet and talk to designers, engineers, and interior architects working in the field.
"Thank you so much for having me at transFORM this week! I had a wonderful time and got a lot of truly meaningful advice from people working in a design field. I definitely will take what they shared with me to heart when considering career options in the future. I really can't thank you enough for being so welcoming and helpful!" - Selin
This wasn’t Selin’s first visit to transFORM. In 2012 she took took Best in Show in New Rochelle High School’s PAVE contest with her ceramic relief tile “Bubbles”. Hosted in transFORM’s gallery, this week long competition showcased the art of over 25 student artists.
transFORM thanks Selin for her visit, and we are honored to share our experience. We wish Selin the best in her future and in the field of Interior Design. transFORM is happy to support the young people in our community through New Rochelle High School, the PAVE Program and the arts in New Rochelle.
